This is my daddy, Sander, and my mommy, Sarah. My daddy originally comes from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They met each other when mommy was backpacking through Europe for 2 months. When she visit Amsterdam she met my daddy and they pretty much fell in love instantly.

Unfortunately mommy had to go back to Canada again, but daddy promised her to visit her in the summer. So about a month and a half after my mommy had to leave my daddy, he came to Canada. My daddy was so sure about her that he decided to propose and of course she said yes, otherwise I wasn't writing the story right now. =)

Sad but true the holiday came to an end and my daddy had to go back to his home country again. After tons of e-mails, phone calls and a couple of times flying back and forward, mommy decided to come to The Netherlands and live there with daddy for a while. After 9 months (eh, that's funny =) ) they both moved back to Canada to start their lifes here.

They got married on March 9 (eh, there's that "9" again =) ), 2002 and they still talk about how much fun that was, so I guess I missed out on something. After my daddy got all his Canadian papers they decided it was time to start to try making a little family member and guess who is the lucky one...yes, me!! =)
