Hello!!! Mommy and Daddy want to apologize for not keeping up my web site this past year. It has been so busy and they couldn't believe how long it had been when they looked at the date from my last entry! SO much has happened this year and you can see how much I have grown in my new photos.

I am FOUR years old now and I started my first year of school. I am in JK and I go to school everyday. My teacher is amazing! She is very sweet and always talks in a soft voice. I have learned so many things in just 3 months. I can now count to 100…sing my ABC's…write my name, and lots of my friends names…sing songs I've learned from school…and so much more! I've made some amazing friends, like Abbee, Tara, Julianna and Ryan, and I am really lucky because ALL of the kids in my class are very kind.

I had a really great summer with my Mommy and Daddy. Daddy got 2 weeks vacation, so we were able to do some really cool things like go to Marineland and African Lions Safari! It was SO much fun! We also go to go to the beach a few times, and I learned how to swim all by myself (with water wings on my arms of course).

This Halloween I went Trick or Treating with my best friend Molly. She was a pirate and I dressed up as Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) for school and then wore a warm unicorn costume for the evening when we went Trick or Treating. I got lots of chocolate, candy and chips – although mommy and daddy only kept the chocolate and chips for me because I don't like candy. It tastes yucky.

I have SUCH a big personality now and I am very expressive with my hands. I make mommy and daddy laugh a lot – especially with my "knock knock" jokes. =)

Well, I hope everyone has enjoyed my update…and I apologize (or Mommy and Daddy do) for taking SOOOOO long. We will keep this site going for a long time so even if we go away for awhile it doesn't mean we won't come back. Thank you for taking such an interest in my life – Mommy and Daddy think it's fun to read all of the guestbook comments and one day I will understand it all a bit better. So long for now…so until next time, enjoy my new photos and movies and always come back!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I can't believe how fast time goes, three months have past already! We should have pretty cold weather with tons of snow by now, however today it was +10 and I haven't seen snow since the beginning of December and our spring flowers are coming out already. This is very strange! The only good thing about this is that it was very nice and sunny.

Sadly an unfortunate event happened these past three months. Someone or something hacked into my guestbook and deleted ALL my messages. Luckily my daddy was able to recover all the messages from before he installed the more fancy Guestbook, but everything after (what is over a year worth of messages) is lost =(

I have had a great Halloween and even a better Christmas. Santa Claus was VERY generous to me and spoiled me with tons of presents. I saw him a few times in the mall and got to sit on his lap at Daddy's Christmas Work Party. It was pretty amazing, but also a little overwhelming. Oh, and I also saw Cinderella! That was very exiting as well!

Of course I have selected a collection of pictures for you to look at and even two new movies! Just click on the icons below.

Anyway, I whish everyone an amazing New Year with lots of love, health and happiness!

Oh My Goodness, it has been 4 months already since I last wrote in this weblog. A BIG thank you to all the people who have been very patient and took the time to write such nice messages in my guestbook. Well, a lot has happened in these 4 months. Unfortunately, the summer has come to an end, although this Thanksgiving Weekend we had beautiful weather and we went both Sunday and Momday out for big hikes. I walked a lot myself, but at some point I got too tired and asked my Daddy if I could go in the backpack. Wow that was awesome!! I could totally enjoy everything without getting tired.

Of course the most exiting thing that happened these past 4 months was my 3rd birthday!!! I really had a blast. We actually celebrated my birthday twice (lucky girl that I am), once with Grandma and Grandpa on my actual birthday and then with all my and Mommy and Daddy's friends the Saturday after my birthday. Mommy and Daddy made "Giving The Cake" movies of both celebrations, which are posted on-line.

I hope we can keep up with this site a little better, but sometimes we are just too busy and just can't find the time to update it.

Besides the two movies we also have tons of pictures. Have fun!

Hello Friends and Family! It has been a very busy month. Daddy had one week of vacation, so we were having TONS of fun in May! Mommy was sick the first couple of days, so we had to cancel a trip to see my Uncle John and Aunt Linda – but we still managed to have some fun. When Mommy was feeling all better, we took a trip to Canada's Wonderland with our friends Mike, Erin, Molly and Ella! It was SO amazing. I didn't even know this place existed. Canada's Wonderland is a HUGE amusement park with tons of rides and yummy food – and music is playing everywhere! I went on my very first roller coaster (with Daddy), and I even got to hug Dora! Can you believe it? Molly and I had so much fun together and we are better friends than ever! I also danced in front of the stores and people would stop to smile at me. I think they were impressed with my amazing rhythm. =)

I have officially learned how to sing my first song: "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". Mommy and Daddy love it when I sing the song because they think it sounds so sweet. I especially like to sing it to my dolls and in the car when we are driving home. I even got to sing it to my Uncle Ivo in The Netherlands!!! He loved it!

This morning my daddy and I had a lot of fun in front of the computer. We "MSN-Chatted" with my Uncle Jack, Oma, Opa, and Cousin Jessie! They live far away in The Netherlands. We even got to make funny faces and dance in front of our camera. Uncle Jack was SO funny, and was even able to cheer me up after I fell and hurt myself. No one EVER cheers me up that quickly! It was a lot of fun, and I hope we do it again soon.

Well, that is it for me. I should go and get dressed, because it is Sunday and we are going to go out for bit (maybe to the mall!). Enjoy the new photos – there are TONS!!! And there is a movie too! =)

Hello long-lost readers! I apologize for taking SO long to write this new update. Things have been very hectic in our household, but I finally have time to write this entry and post a TON of new photos!

Where to start? Well, first of all, I had to go to the hospital a couple of weeks ago! It all started one weekend when I couldn’t poop. It took three days before I was able to poop and when I did it was extremely painful. I cried on my mommy and daddy’s shoulder the whole time. One week later it happened again, and this time it was worse. To make a VERY long story short, by the end of the final day I was referred to a doctor in the ER of a hospital, where I was finally able to poop (and yes, it was again extremely painful) and I was diagnosed with Chronic Constipation. Now I have to take 7.5 ml of orange syrup (every morning) that makes my tummy feel better and helps me poop regularly. I am feeling really great now and I’ve almost forgotten the entire ordeal. Mommy and daddy think I am a trooper.

I am really enjoying the sunny and warm weather this Spring. Mommy and I go out EVERY morning to play in the garden. We also go for long walks – I love to push my dolls and stuffed animals in my "mini-stroller". I also love to run around in my pretty pink bathing suit and splash around in my cool turtle sprinkler!

The other day Daddy was teaching me how to ride my tricycle. I was able to do it for a little bit, but I think my legs are just not strong enough to do it for too long. So Daddy decided to put his one foot on the back of the bike and step with the other…it was great fun. The next day he had sore legs =)

I am talking a lot now, and mommy and daddy think I have a great sense of humour. As you can see and read everything is going really well. I will try to update the site a little more often though, but I am really happy to see that you all stuck around for so long!

Hello Friends and Family! It is a cold winter's day in Canada. The sun is shining and we don't have any snow – but it is -10 degrees today. It is lunch time soon, but mommy, daddy and I are still in our pyjamas. It's a lazy Sunday.

This past week I had a couple of play dates. Steph and Abby came over for a visit. Unfortunately, I was a little scared of Abby that day – even though she is only 9 months old. I was crying for no reason at all. Mommy was a bit stressed, but eventually I calmed down and was able to play with little Abby. Hopefully I grow out of this stage soon. Or at least mommy hopes so. =)

I also had a play date with my little buddy Molly! We had so much fun playing with all of her cool toys. That's until she brought me up to her bedroom and gave me a big hug…it scared me a bit, so once again I was crying. After we had our lunch, mommy brought me home and I was STILL upset – so I had to have a little time out in my bedroom. I calmed down quickly and was later able to explain that it scared me when Molly hugged me so hard. Mommy told me that Molly is a very nice girl and that I don't have to be afraid. Now I can't wait till I get to play with Molly again! Silly me.

I am talking a lot now. My mommy and daddy sometime have a "serious talk" with each other, and when they start that I look at them, stick my hand out in front of me and say "stop it mommy and daddy…stop talking…all done". They always have to laugh. Us little kids don't like serious talks.

Well, I hope everyone is doing well. You can see all my new photos – including a few of my buddy Abby, and two of my first real "boo boo". I was playing in mommy and daddy's bedroom and I fell on my belly. I ended up cutting my bottom lip with my teeth – ouch! I am okay now though. Talk to you all soon!

Oh boy…I am very sorry for taking SO long to write my new journal entry. We have had a very busy month. First of all, my Great Grandma (I call her G.G.) moved closer to us, so I have been visiting her often. We have become very close. She has a pretty pink toy cat that sits on her bed and she lets me play with it every time I visit her. G.G. is my Grandma's mommy.

Christmas was amazing! First of all, on Christmas Eve we went to visit G.G. We had a nice lunch and then opened some presents. I got a great Thomas the Train book and a magnet that goes on the fridge and it teaches me the alphabet! Later on that evening, mommy and daddy took me to a party at our neighbour's house! I got to play with my buddy Molly till 10:00 pm! We played with her toys and danced around the living room. Mommy and daddy took me home to bed at 10:00 pm so I wouldn't be to exhausted Christmas morning.

In the morning, Grandma and Grandpa came over first thing and I showed them all the presents that Santa put under the tree. We had so much fun. Mommy made a delicious breakfast and we all ate and took turns opening gifts. Mommy and daddy were very proud of me because I was so patient when others opened gifts. I got lots of great gifts. Books, Little People, clothes, Mr. Potato Head, a cool purse with my own wallet/cell phone/keys/sun glasses/make-up compact (this was from my Oma Suse from The Netherlands!), AND my Grandpa and Grandma neighbours, Martha and Bill, bought me a HUGE pony that I can sit on! It even feels like real fur, and when I squeeze his ear he nays and plays "racing" music. I like to sit on him while I watch T.V., and sometimes I let my stuffed animals sit on him.

On Boxing Day, we had a nice visit with Steph, Mike and Abby. Unfortunately, the next day Abby got the stomach flu…followed by Mike…and then Steph. They had to spend their whole week of vacation sick. =(

I also got to see Tricia and Rob that week! Tricia's mom and dad were there as well. Tricia is mommy's oldest friend. They've been friends since they were 5 years old, and Tricia was backpacking with mommy when my mommy and daddy met. The best news is that Tricia and Rob are going to have a baby in August, so now I will have a NEW little buddy!

On New Year's Eve, we went to a Karaoke party at Adam and Kirsten's house. It was SO much fun. I got to sing and dance till 11:30 pm! That is the latest I have ever stayed up (my bed time is usually around 7:30 pm). I couldn’t make it till midnight…I was just too exhausted…so mommy took me up to their guest bedroom and I fell asleep very quickly. In the morning, Adam and daddy made everyone bacon and pancakes. Yummy!

Well, that is it for me. Mommy and I are very sick with a bad cold. I have it in my chest and mommy has more of a head cold. We have spent the whole day lounging on the couch and watching movies while we fall in and out of sleep. OH, I almost forgot! The most exciting thing happened this past week! I moved from my crib to a "big girl bed". I had no problems at all and I absolutely LOVE my new bed. It is so comfy and big, and my stuffed animals like sleeping in it as well. Well, I hope you enjoyed my late journal entry. There are PLENTY of new photos to see, so enjoy! Till next time. =)

Hello and Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone is happy and healthy. My mommy and daddy have both been sick for a few weeks now, and I have had the same cold for almost 2 weeks!!! I am also getting my last 2 molars. My mommy has been pretty impressed though because I've been pretty happy through the whole thing. I only have a bit more of an attitude. Mommy might say it is A LOT more of an attitude. I even coloured on my pants yesterday. With a marker! Mommy was shocked because I've never done anything like that before. I don't think I'll be doing it again though. Not after seeing how unhappy mommy was. =(

I have had a busy month! Adam and Kirsten took me to "Build a Bear". I got to pick out my own bear (I chose a white one with a pink nose). They then filled it will white, fluffy cotton, and I got to make a wish on a heart and stick it in the bear. It then got stitched up and I was then allowed to "groom" my bear in the "fluffing station". Adam and Kirsten then let me pick a pretty outfit for my bear. We named her Snuggles! They gave me a cool box to keep my bear in and then we got to bring her home! We slept over at Kirsten and Adam's new house and I got to have pizza with Kelly and Hannah (my new buddy). I will be walking down the aisle with Hannah at Adam and Kirsten's wedding next year. I can't wait!

I also went to Daddy's company Christmas party. I saw Scooby-Doo AND Santa Claus! Santa gave me a present after I sat on his lap (not my favourite part of the party, but I didn't cry!). I also got a cool tattoo AND a balloon in the shape of a plane. It was a great party. I made lots of new buddies (my daddy's co-workers children).

Steph, Mike and Abby had us over for the Santa Claus Parade! It was SO cool. Steph's niece and nephews where there and I had SO much fun playing with them. They were so nice to me. The parade was very cool. There were fire trucks, floats, and dancing girls (I got right up and danced with them!). I also saw Santa and I think he may have even waved right at me!

We also went to Steph's house for a Christmas party last weekend. Adam and Kirsten were also there, as well as Natalie and Steve (friends of Steph and Mike – very sweet couple). Steph made some yummy food and treats for all of us, and I played non-stop with my buddy Adam. Adam and Kirsten gave me some Bear in the Big Blue House books, and Steph made me a cool stocking with my very own Princess Electric Tooth Brush ( Steph is a dental assistant).

WOW!!! What a month! And it will only get better because soon it will be Christmas day. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. I will update my site after the holidays – with lots of more photos of course. But until that time, make sure to check out my latest pics! =)

Happy Halloween!!! Well, I'm a little late, but if you check out my new photos you can see me in my cute Halloween costume! I went Trick-or-Treating with my friend, Molly. Her mommy and daddy, and my mommy came out with us. Daddy had to stay home to hand out candy to all the other children. I had such an amazing night. Mommy and daddy got me all ready in my sheep costume. I also got to carry a cool pumpkin to put my candy in AND I had a pumpkin flashlight so everyone could see me coming from a mile away. Mommy made sure to teach me how to say "Trick or Treat" before we left the house, and I remembered to say "thank you" when someone gave me candy. Molly dressed up as a friendly witch. I really liked her costume…I wonder what I will be next year? I got SO much candy. Chocolate, lollipops, gummies and chips! Mommy and daddy didn't let me eat it all, but I did get some chocolates. Yummy!!!

The weather is getting cooler now, but that doesn't stop me from playing outside. Most days mommy and I go outside to play in the leaves. She makes me BIG piles and I get to jump and spin in them. I make a real mess, but mommy doesn't seem to mind. I also got to help mommy carve the pumpkins at our house! We carved 3 of them!!! Our house looked really nice for Halloween. Now we wre getting started for Christmas. Yes, as soon as Halloween is over, Christmas is rushing in.

I am starting to put words together more. I'll say "big truck", or "big white truck". I am also getting really good at climbing. I climb onto kitchen chairs…ya, mommy and daddy have to watch me a lot. =)

I love dancing. Mommy and daddy will put on loud music and we dance all around the house. It is great fun. I think they get tired before I do though.

Well, make sure to check out the photos! You won't be disappointed. See you soon!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone…or at least those in Canada! And what a weekend it has been. Yesterday we headed over to see Grandma and Grandpa for some yummy chicken dinner, and it was really good. I had a great evening with them and Mommy and Daddy. I played upstair, in the back yard and downstairs...so many places to play =). The day before yesterday was a very exciting day. Grandma and Grandpa showed up at 8:00am so that mommy and daddy could go and help Adam and Kirsten move into their new home. I had a really fun day with Grandma and Grandpa. We played outside a lot and Grandma made me a yummy omelette for lunch (followed by a yogurt and banana).

After my nap, they drove me over to Adam and Kirsten's new house. Mommy and daddy were waiting there for me and gave me BIG hugs. But I was most excited to see Adam. I love Adam. We are good buddies. He always plays with me and will do anything I ask him to do. I also love their new house! Everything was so new and clean, and the carpet was nice a soft to play on. I found some if Kirsten's old stuffed animals and I especially had fun playing with "Tickle-me-Elmo". We didn't eat dinner till 7:15pm! I usually eat my dinner around 5:30. PLUS, I got to have a cheeseburger and fries from McDonalds. Lucky girl! I haven't had McDonalds since last January!!! Because we ate so late, I didn't get home till almost 9:00pm. I am usually in bed before 7:30pm, so I was very lucky to stay out so late.

Other things to tell….OH, my Uncle John and Auntie Linda sent me a birthday gift in the mail. It was SO cool! I got a princess wand, hair band and bracelet. I love them all. They are pink and very girlie, and if you go to my new photos you can see a picture of me playing with it all! Thank you Uncle John and Auntie Linda! =)

I also got to see Steph, Mike and Abby a couple of times recently. Once at my house and once at their house. I really like Abby. She is cute and cuddly and she listens to me. I gave her some of my old baby toys and she seemed to really enjoy them.

I also got to see Darla, Aaron and Raya last weekend! We drove to their house and had a nice lunch with them. I was a bit tired and a little on the "sensitive" side, but we still had a great visit. I really like their two dogs Loulou and Indie. And I LOVED the yummy sandwiches we had for lunch…thank you Darla.

Well, that is it for me! Check out my new photos…oh, and I almost forgot! I have a "big girl bed" now. I haven't slept in it yet, but I think I might try it out soon. Make sure to see the photo of me lying on my new bed. So pretty. Bye for now! =)

Happy Birthday to ME!!! Yeah, I am now 2 years old! Can you believe we've had this web site since I was in my mommy's tummy? And the best part about this site is that some of you have been coming back to visit since I was THAT small! Isn't that great?!

I had a wonderful and LONG birthday. First of all, we celebrated my Grandma's birthday one evening, and while we were all having fun, mommy and daddy decided to give me one of my gifts. I was SO excited to see the Little People's Train Set. I am in love with trains right now, and I already have a few things from the Little People, so they knew it would be a great gift. Mommy and daddy even let us all have some chocolate cake that night – with candles and everything! I even knew how to blow it out in ONE try. I also learned the "Happy Birthday" song that evening. I sing it like this "Happy to you…happy to you" over and over again.

The following Saturday, my Grandpa, Grandma and Aunt Heather came over for a nice dinner. Mommy made salmon cakes, potatoes and peas. YUMMY! We also had chocolate cupcakes for dessert (mine with a candle, once again). Aunt Heather bought me the coolest Thomas the Train Lego set! I liked it SO much, that mommy and daddy couldn't get me to open the nice gifts from Grandma and Grandpa. They were all laughing, but I just continued to play with my new red train. =)

The following Tuesday, was my actual birthday. Daddy got me out of my crib in the morning, and when I came downstairs I cuddled with mommy on the couch for a little bit. Then mommy and daddy asked me "Maya, what do you get on your birthday?" I said, "cake". Then they asked me again…and I said "cake". So the third time they asked, I suddenly understood and said "presents!" I looked around the room, and sitting on the fireplace was a BIG bag. When I opened it up I found a toy stroller to push all my dolls and animals around in! I played with it ALL day!

Mommy also introduced me to Play-doh! It is great stuff to play with. We made butterflies, dragonflies, pigs, and pizza out of the dough. I played with it one day from 8:30am – 12:30pm…and then continued to play with it after my nap! I love it THAT much!

NOW, on the following Saturday, mommy and daddy had a BIG party for me with all my friends and little buddies. There were balloons, yummy food, ice cream cake, cupcakes, presents and Adam! Adam is mommy and daddy's friend who I like very much. He does whatever I tell him to do and he never complains. Yep, I think he'll be my friend for a long time. =)

Well, I am tired out after all this talking! I have many new pictures for you to see. I hope you enjoyed my birthday story, and thank you to all who wrote in my guestbook recently!

Take care, and I'll be back soon!

Well, I promised I would write in my journal every two weeks…but I'm afraid I am a little late with this entry. We've just been so busy! I've had TWO visits with my little friend Abby (who is almost 4 months old now!). I like her very much. She is starting to laugh and she smiles at me all the time. She also makes some cool gurgle noises.

My neighbour, Molly, turned 3 this past month and I was invited to her birthday party. I had a great time because there was cake, ice cream and lots of toys to play with. I think she and I will be friends for a very long time! We will even go to the same school (in a couple of years).

Our street had a "Summer Street Party". There was a blow-up bouncing castle to jump in, and we had hamburgers and hotdogs, and lots of yummy salads and cookies! Molly and I played together a lot, and you can even see some photos of us hugging each other in my photo section.

I've also been hanging out with my little buddies Cassidy and Quinn. Quinn celebrated his 2nd birthday in August as well, so I went to his party! There was yummy ice cream, and he got a lot of cool toys.

In less than two weeks, it will be my birthday! I will be 2 years old! Can you believe it? My mommy will be having two parties for me. One with my family next weekend and one with friends the following weekend. I am so excited for both parties! My mommy even bought pink balloons!!!

Make sure to check out my new photos…I'm getting so big! My next update will be after my birthday parties, so make sure to check out the site the week of September 18th!
